At Miller’s Sugar Camp we have a long history of making Amish maple syrup. As a young boy, our lead syrup maker, learned the craft of making maple syrup in his Amish community from his father, who learned it from his father before him and so on for many generations in the Miller family.
Before school in the mornings and after school in the afternoons, he would accompany his father to the trees and taps to harvest maple sap. After many years and many fond memories of making maple syrup with his father, the craft of syrup making has become a life-long passion, which has culminated in Miller’s Sugar Camp located on Circle L Farm in Burbank, Ohio.
The approach and techniques of turning maple tree sap into syrup that have been passed down from his family for generations, as well as his own innovations, make Miller’s Amish Maple Syrup some of the best tasting Ohio maple syrup available.
At Miller’s Sugar Camp we strive to produce the highest quality syrup both in taste and texture to create a product that excites our customers. In our experiences in sampling other maple syrup products we have observed that many syrup products are either too thin, or too thick in texture, and either too sweet or not sweet enough in taste. We strive to find the perfect balance of texture, so the syrup stays on your tongue a little longer, allowing our customers to experience the full richness of flavors and the sweet buttery mouth feel of our maple syrup.
At Miller’s Sugar Camp we offer a variety of maple syrup products in many different sizes. Our 100% US Grade A pure old-fashioned Amish maple syrup with its beautiful amber color and full, rich taste and feel is available in 8 oz, 16 oz, 32 oz, 64 oz, and 128 oz sizes, as well as a 1.70 oz sample size. Additionally, we offer our amazing Ohio Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup which is finished in Buffalo Trace bourbon whiskey barrels for 8 months available in 8 oz and 12 oz sizes. And we also offer our Ohio Cinnamon Maple Syrup and Ohio Maple Black Walnut Syrup in 8 oz sizes.
